The Business Journal of Milwaukee: Mandel likely to seek funding for old tannery
The Mandel Group, Incorporated, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is planning to obtain financial assistance from the City of Milwaukee for the development of the former Pfister & Vogel tannery, located in Milwaukee's Park East corridor. This $150 million residential development will feature a 14-story complex with 400-600 condominium units, at least 300 apartment units, and retail spots along the river. The Mandel Group is expected to begin demolition of vacant warehouses on the property before August 2006 and to begin construction before the end of 2006.
