The Business Journal of Milwaukee: Long-awaited Kane Commons moving ahead
Community activist, Julilly Kohler, will be presenting a $5 million proposal to the Milwaukee City Planning Commission in early May. Kohler is proposing to develop land along East Kane Place in Milwaukee's East Side - turning this investment into several multi-family units - comprising of condominiums, single-family homes, and apartments. Kohler's idea will embrace the City of Milwaukee's "green"-friendly or environmentally-friendly building standards.
