OnMilwaukee.com: New "wayfinding systems" craft a user-friendly Downtown

Are You Lost in Downtown? Never Fear...The "Wayfinder" Is Here!

The city of Milwaukee's Primary Pedestrian Corridor Development Project was developed to make walking through downtown Milwaukee a more pleasurable experience. The planners have created walking corridors between major downtown attractions.

The city has installed "pedestrian wayfinding systems" throughout the downtown area. These systems consist of brightly colored signs identifying points of interests, pedestrian kiosks which include a wayfinding map and historical information, and new street identifiers at street corners.
